PREGNANCY UPDATE - WEEK 36

OK, I admit it I am READY to have this baby. I still don't have my house ready and still have a few things that I need to buy but I am so ready for him to get here mainly because of this......

This is a picture of my poor feet at the end of the day. Are they not just the cutest feet?? They are so sore and swollen that by the time I get home from work I can barely walk. Thank goodness for flip flops. That is the only shoes that I can get on my feet. They are part of the reason I can't get anything done in the evenings.

Any suggestions or tips in keeping the swelling down besides keeping my feet elevated??

FRUIT2O PRODUCT REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

Fruit2O, the creators of the original fruit flavored water, now offers Fruit2O Essentials, a

refreshing beverage that combines several nutrients found in two servings of fruit with crisp, clear water with zero calories and zero sugar.

USDA studies show that 80 percent of Americans do not drink the recommended eight glasses of water per and 77 percent of Americans do not eat the recommended servings of fruit a day. Fruit2O Essentials offers several nutrients (vitamins and minerals) found in 2 servings of fruit and 1g of fiber. Women looking to stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet can better achieve the recommended daily intake of water and fruit nutrients by drinking Fruit2O Essentials.

I received a sample pack of Fruit2O to review. My sample pack included all the flavors available which are: Cranberry Raspberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Peach Mango, Citrus, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Cherry Acai. My favorite flavor was the Strawberry Kiwi which is an excellent source of Manganese and a good source of Vitamin E, Phosphorus and Vitamin B6.

THRIFTY "DAYCATION" ON GOOD FRIDAY

The weather was suppose to be beautiful and we all had Spring Fever. I wanted to spend the day doing something extra fun for Payton, Matt and I both had the day off. I thought of going on a picnic but I really wanted to go somewhere with something enjoyable for Payton to do. Matt had a friend at work to tell him about Dan Nicholas Park. We had never heard of it even though its only an hour or so away. After visiting their website, our plans were made. The prices were great and I knew we would have a wonderful time.

We had a picnic when we arrived and then we set out to enjoy the park. I was very impressed with the beauty of the park. Everything was so neat and clean. The park was very well maintained. We spent the day riding the carousel, riding the train, visiting the petting zoo and feeding the animals, visiting the wildlife animals, playing at the playgrounds, walking through the water misters to cool off and riding the paddleboats (which was my favorite).

We spent a total of $17 for the whole day (does not include gas for travel). The total for riding and visiting all of the exhibits was $13 and we spent $4 in drinks.

The $17 was well worth it. It is definitely a place we plan to visit again.

What thrifty activities or local attractions do you and your family like to do in the summertime??
