Thoughtful Thursday
There is always that one person that you say you are going to call or visit sometime but never seem to get around to it. Well today, call or visit that person. There is a lady that my mom use to work with that always wants me to visit her and bring my daughter and yesterday on my way home we stopped for a quick visit. She was so surprised and excited to see us. Those little things mean so much.
Sample Review
Warm Delight Minis - Molten Chocolate Cake
My husband and I tried our samples last night after dinner. We were quit impressed - 1 tbsp. and 1 tsp of water, mix and a few seconds in the microwave and they are ready. They were very moist and good. The would be a neat thing fix kids to fix. I don't see how they could go wrong.
Cost - Walgreens - 2 for $5 - Several coupons available.
Definitely Would Buy at the Right Price

Thrifty Idea for Summer Fun
30" x 15' Pool - Big Lots = $70.00
We have had our pool up for 3 weeks now and have used it every weekend. Our family and friends have enjoyed it with us. My daughter (20 months old) loves it and can't wait to get in. If you factor in the cost of going to a swimming pool - entry fee, gas, money spent on food and drinks, this will save us money this summer. We can stay in as long as we want and not feel like we are losing money if we decide to make it a short day in the pool and if an afternoon storm comes our way. My husband and I love the sun, water, and just being outside. Granted, you can't swim laps but we can play have fun with our daughter. Yes, there is a pump that has to run constantly and you do have to buy chemicals and clean your pool but so far we are satisfied with our purchase.

If the pool is taken care of properly, we can use it for years to come.

Awesome Website - Allrecipes.com
This is the neatest website. Why haven't I found this before? Of course, you can search for any recipe and create you own recipe box for further reference, a recipe exchange, holiday ideas including Father's Day and much more. My favorite thing is the ingredient search, just enter in the ingredients that you have and recipes appear. I started out searching steak, rosemary, garlic, and I got decided on Blake's Best Steak and then I search potatoes, butter, garlic and I decided on Herbed Mashed Potatoes. As you can tell I love garlic. :) Check out the website. Below is a picture of our dinner Satuday night. It was great.

Procrastination - Such a dirty word!
Definition of Procrastination - Delay; Dawdle; To put off doing something;
Habitually not doing something that should be done.
I normally don't procrastinate about doing things. My motto - Do it today so you don't have to do it tomorrow. My daughter is 19 months old and I have been trying to work on photo albums, scrapbooks, just putting pictures in frames the whole time. I have so many pictures piled up it is not even funny. I moved my pictures, albums, frames, scrapbook into my dining room so I could see my mess several times a day, thinking it would give me that little push I needed to get this done. It has not worked!! The only thing I have accomplished in 20 months is a completed baby book and 1 Christmas scrapbook where all I had to add is pictures and journaling. Below is a picture of my mess. Help -- I need that push to get this accomplished. Give me some motivating advice.

Father's Day Poem
What Makes a Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dad
