Comment Saturday - What is Your Favorite FREE Entertainment for Summer?

Today is Comment Saturday!!

For every comment left, I will return the favor by responding to your comment and by visiting your blog and leaving a comment.
I love to hear from my readers and I encourage you to leave comments on any blog you visit.
Today's question....What is your favorite FREE entertainment for summer?  My family's favorite thing to do is spend our afternoons outside in the pool.  We purchased a pool from Walmart several years ago and have never regretted it.  It has been well worth the money spent.

All Moms with Infants Need a Baby Sling

All moms need a baby sling.  A moms job is never finished and there are only so many things that you can do with one hand.  A baby sling was a great way for me to complete my daily routine a little easier.  They provide great baby support to make them very comfortable and very ease to use.

A baby sling also comes in very handy if you have other children. Having a new addition to your family requires a little adjustment time for the older siblings.  Using a sling, gives you the opportunity to give the other children attention.

Great Reasons to Purchase a Baby Sling:

- Baby slings also keep your children safe.  No fear in them wandering away or getting lost.

- Baby slings come in several varieties and colors for moms and dads.

- Keeps your hands free to complete your daily activities.

- Brings comfort to your child.  They are able to feel you close to them.

- Baby slings are available for toddlers up to 44 lbs.

- Baby slings also can be used in the front, back, or side.  Whatever position is more comfortable to you.

If you are looking for a baby sling for yourself or as a gift, check out babysling.com for all your sling needs.

Tuesday Series - Thrifty Items That Keep Me Organized

I could not live without my $2 calendar/planner that I purchased at Dollar General.  It is just the perfect size.  It is small enough to carry in my purse so I can have access to it at all times.  I use it to record appointments, birthday reminders, and to remember any events or plans. It has a monthly calendar and also a 7 day calendar for each week.

There is also a note section in the back that I use to record any ideas or to write a quick reminder for myself.

Do you have something similar to this to keep you organized?

Wow, What a Week!!

I'm back!  Sorry for being gone for a week but there was a couple of issues at home that had to be taken care of.

Last Monday was a very sad day.  Our pony, Peanut died Monday morning and I had a heartbroken little girl.   We have no idea what happened, unless it was his age.

I spent of Monday trying to figure out what to tell Payton.  She had never had a pet or a family member to die.  I decided after much thought that it was best to tell her the truth.  I waited until Monday evening after dance class.  It was one of the worst motherhood moments that I have ever had.  She was heartbroken and full of questions.  So I spent most of my week spending lots of extra time with her,  comforting her and answering questions.

Hopefully, this week I can get back to my normal schedule!

Sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
