Thoughtful Thursday
Drive-Thru Game - Going throught a drive-thru today, pay for your order and for the order of the person behind you. What a nice surprise!! My cousin experienced this one morning at Bojangles. A gentleman pad for his breakfast and for the person behind him. The cashier told the next person what had happend and they paid for the next person. The lady working the drive-thru said this went on for over 2 hours. i just think this would be so neat.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

Thrifty Tips for a Flower Garden
I love flowers!! Any kind and any color. The summer after we built our house I did splurge and buy flowers for my yard. All were perennials (they come back every year). I do not spend money each summer buying annuals to plant in my yard. I feel like the best investment is flowers that I can enjoy for years to come. I do buy about $30 of annuals to put in pots that I have on my porches and deck. This year I used a coupon for Lowes and I didn't have to spend as much as normal. I have had several opportunites where friends and family offered flowers from their yard that no longer wanted or dug up to divide. I have obtained hosta plants, irises, and tulips this way. They also come back every year. Last year I bought a $1 pack of perennial seeds that included several kinds of flowers. I got very lucky and had 7 kinds of flowers to grow. This year they are coming up again. I followed the directions on the pack and was surprised when so many flowers starting popping up for $1. I have transplanted some to other areas of my yard. I received a free pack in the mail this year and I am going to try again. Hopefully, I will have the same results. Below is a picture of 2 of my favorite perennials in my yard.

Hamburger Helper Microwave Singles - Cheeseburger Macroni
My husband tried this yesterday and thought it was great. He is not always impressed by things cooked in the microwave but he was impressed with this. He said the pasta was well cooked. A quick little snack/lunch item to have on hand for the kids this summer.
