Finally Friday
Thank goodness its Friday!! :) My husband has been gone a week today. It is getting so lonely at my house. Payton and I are doing fine. She asks for her daddy every evening when we get home. She is talking to him on the phone every day and she will tell you that he is working. Hopefully, he will be home soon.
I have several things planned this weekend to keep us busy. Payton has a birthday party tomorrow and we are going out to dinner tonight.

Tasty Tuesday - Freezing Basil
This year had a small herb garden with lots of basil. After a little online research, I decided to freeze my basil to use during the winter. It was very simple to do.
After pulling the leaves from the plants -
I washed throughly
Let them dry
Chopped them in my mini chopper
Placed them in ice cube trays
Filled with water
Put in the freezer.
Now all I need to do is add the ice cube to whatever I'm cooking. I have enough to last me all winter.

Sample Review - ICY Hot Patch
ICY Hot PatchesI have had this in my basket of samples for a few months. It came in very handy last night. I talked my husband into rearranging some furniture and of course his back was hurting afterwards. Instead of waiting for him to ask, I immediately went to my sample basket and pull out the patch.
