FINALLY FRIDAY

It's Friday and I'm taking a vacation day today. ;o)
My husband's aunt has been visiting all week from Chicago and today we are going to take her to a local winery and she is going to come to our home for the first time. She leaves tomorrow and I wanted to spend some time with her. This is also the first time she has seen Payton so I wanted her to have a little more bonding (spoiling) time with her great - neice.

Matt is still on storm trouble. :( I did receive his 1st storm trouble check this week. :) Hopefully, he will be home soon. The money is great but my little girl asking for her daddy every day, 3 -4 times a day, is so sad.

UPDATE - ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT

I emailed customer service at Lowes Foods Monday to inform them of the problems I had with my coupons on Friday. I just received an email letting me know that I would be receiving a $10 gift card in the mail.

I am so glad that there is still companies with great customer service and really want to make their customers happy.

Payton's Barney Breakfast Pizza

This recipe has nothing to do with Barney. I fixed this over the weekend and it just hit the spot. Payton (age 2) needs a little encouragement when it comes time to eat sometimes. When I fixed her plate Saturday morning, she immediately told that she didn't like it. I told her it was Barney's Breakfast Pizza (just made that up) and she ate 2 pieces.

1 Pizza Crust (You can use Crescent Rolls but I didn't have any)

4 Eggs (Beatened)

1 lb. Sausage

Cheddar Cheese

Mozzarella Cheese

Onion (optional)

Green Pepper (optional)

Mushrooms (optional)

Bake the pizza crust for 6 minutes on 350°. Layer the pizza with sausage, eggs, and cheese (whatever the amount you prefer) and onion, green pepper, or mushrooms (your preference). Bake for 10 minutes until eggs are cooked.

Multi Uses for Alka-Seltzer

1) Deep-Clean Vases - Fill vase with water and drop in 2 of these baking soda-rich tablets. Let soak for an hour to remove stains you can't reach.

2) Clean Toilet - Drop a couple of tablets in the toilet bowl. 20 minutes later do a quick scrub.

3) Make an All-Purpose Cleaner - Drop three tablets in warm water. Use to clean countertops, tubs etc.

4) Unclog a Drain - Drop a couple of tablets into drain. Run hot water for a few seconds. Let it sit for a few minutes.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS

After reviewing my receipt from Lowes Foods Friday evening, I noticed that one of my coupons for .75 did not double. Lowes also has ecoupons that you register to your card. I also noticed that one of my ecoupons for $1.00 did not show up. I have called the store and saved my receipt and I will going by there tomorrow for my refund of $1.50. They wanted me to come back Friday evening but I told them I would be by Monday afternoon since it is on my way home from work. I didn't feel like I should waste the gas to return Friday evening.

A couple minutes of time saved me $1.75.
