Thrifty Ways to Update a Room
Updating the look of a room is something some people like to do when the seasons change. Here are some thrifty ways of doing that.
- Paint - Instant Change
- Rearrange Furniture
- Move Accessories - Bring Items in from Another Room
- Fresh Flowers
- Add a Rug
- Add New Throw Pillows
- Change Lamp Shades
- Add New Family & Friends Pictures
To save even more money, look for your new accessories, rugs, throw pillows at a Thrift Store, Goodwill, or yard sales (its getting that time of year again). You never know what you will find there.
Any other ideas that you have done??

Helpful Tips
I can not stand clutter!! Last night after my daughter went to sleep I decided to clean out from under my bathroom cabinet. I was amazed at what I found. I threw tons of things away and went through lots of old makeup. In doing so, I found that you should only keep makeup for certain periods of time.
Mascara - 3-6 months
Eyeliner - 6 months
Foundation - 6 months
Eye Shadow - 9-12 months
Blush - 1-2 years
Lipstick - 2 years or throw away sooner if you notice oil beads on the side or the color appears different.
Friday Night BINGO
I did go play Bingo Friday night but I did NOT win anything. I did have a wonderful time. I guess I can't win every time.
