- Went through all my kids outgrown summer clothes and took them to a consignment sale held a local church this week. I priced over $700 worth of clothes, toys and shoes. I hope I sell everything (wishful thinking). The church does it as a fundraiser. They keep 30% of all sales and I will receive 70% of what I sell. Nothing is priced under $2. I will let you know how I do. Keeping my fingers crossed. This is a lot easier than having a yard sale.
- Since I participated in the consignment sale, I received a ticket to go to the consignment sale a day before it opens to the public. I purchased 25 summer items for Payton and Bryson for a total of $79. I was very happy with my purchases and almost everything was name brand clothing. Not that it matters to me.
