Ways I Saved/Earned Money This Week

- I read all of my MyPoints emails daily for my account and my husband's to add points to receive FREE gift cards.

- Cleaned out my coupon binder.

- Continued to use my FREE samples this week including - sticky notes, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

- Only used my dishwasher once this week.

- Paid a couple of bills online. No money spent on stamps.

- Requested several FREE samples this week.

- Received a FREE sample of dog food.

- Ordered a FREE Family Circle subscription using my Huggies Reward points.

- Stuck to my menu plan this week. No eating out.

- Compared gas prices before filling up.

- Signed up for a Sheetz card (not a credit card) and will automatically receive a .03 discount when buying gas along with other discounts.

- Continued to cut my dryer sheets in half to save.

-  Planned my grocery shopping using sales and coupons.

- Entered Coke Reward Points, Pamper Points and Huggies Rewards point to each account for FREE gift cards, coupons and gifts.

-Refinanced my vehicle loan, saving $65 a month, $780 a month.  Only $260 away from reaching my goal of saving $350 off my monthly expenses.

- Ran all my errands in 1 day to save on gas.

- Saved .05 per gallon of gas with my Lowes Foods Gas Rewards Card when filling out.

- Did a sponsored post for a $25 gift card.

- Cashed Swagbucks for a $5 Amazon gift card.

- Watched a couple of FREE movies on Showtime that I am receiving FREE from Directv.

- Read 2 FREE magazines that I received in the mail.

- Went through all my kids outgrown summer clothes and took them to a consignment sale held a local church this week.  I priced over $700 worth of clothes, toys and shoes.  I hope I sell everything (wishful thinking).  The church does it as a fundraiser.  They keep 30% of all sales and I will receive 70% of what I sell.  Nothing is priced under $2.  I will let you know how I do. Keeping my fingers crossed.  This is a lot easier than having a yard sale.

- Since I participated in the consignment sale, I received a ticket to go to the consignment sale a day before it opens to the public.  I purchased 25 summer items for Payton and Bryson for a total of $79.  I was very happy with my purchases and almost everything was name brand clothing.  Not that it matters to me.
