ALWAYS save your manufacturer warranties and guarantees!!! I just saved myself $160 this month in doing so.
We built our house 9 years. I have 4 shutters on my house that have NOT been replaced. As you see in the picture, the vinyl shutters haved faded.
I called the manufacturer and I had my new shutters in 5 days at no charge.
