Ways I Saved/Earned Money This Week

- I read all of my MyPoints emails daily for my account and my husband's to add points to receive FREE gift cards.

- Cleaned out my coupon binder.

- Continued to use my FREE samples this week including - lotion, shampoo, conditioner, (2) trash bags, labels, toothpaste and lip conditioner.

- Only used my dishwasher once this week.

- Requested a few FREE samples.


- Stuck to my menu plan this week. No eating out.

- Used my gas rewards card from Save A Lot and saved .10 per gallon when filling up.

- Continued to cut my dryer sheets in half to save.

-  Planned my grocery shopping using sales and coupons. 

- Entered Coke Reward Points and Huggies Rewards point to each account for FREE gift cards, coupons and gifts.

- Cashed in Swagbucks for a $5 Amazon gift card. 

- Received a FREE $10 Walmart egift card from Plink.

- Planted a garden.  Looking forward to lots of fresh vegetables this summer.  Thanks to dh it is a lot larger than I intended.

- Purchased 2 rolls of birthday wrapping paper at the Hallmark store using my rewards certificate and only paid $1.08 OOP.

- Used my $8 Staples rewards and purchased a 6 pack of paper towels, 8 pk of purse size tissues (great to send with Payton to school), and 1 pack of foam cutouts.  Paid nothing OOP.

- School is out.  Saving a lot on gas. :)

- Became a member of the U. C. Cellular Better Moments Blogger Brigade.  (So excited!!) Did a sponsored post.

- Received a $5 McDonalds gift card from My Coke Rewards.  Saving for vacation.

- Cashed in some of MyPoints for a $25 Olive Garden.  Saving for vacation.

- Won a $25 Kroger gift card.  Saving for vacation.

- Started a vacation food bag - I have been pulling things out of my stockpile and buying a few items when I catch a great deal for things I know we will need on vacation.   I hope my $25 Kroger gift card will be enough to cover what I need when we get there.

- Read several FREE magazines = FREE entertainment.

- Payton and I have visited the library twice in the past couple of weeks to check out books for FREE!  We are continuing to read almost daily.   I too have being reading a lot more.

- Purchased plants and hanging baskets at Walmart on Memorial Day.  Found everything I wanted for 50% - 75% off.  Saved a huge amount of money.  I planted flowers in 3 small pots, 3 large pots, 1 hanging basket for hook and 4 ferns for front porch.
