No matter what, try to always see the bright side in every situation.
A quote I definitely tried to live by during the holidays. My son got sick on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day was spent at home with a sick 2 year old. All plans for the day were cancelled. We were at the doctors office the following morning soon after they opened. Went back again 2 days later and was finally tested for the flu and RSV. The RSV test came back positive. It is a virus so antibiotics do not help. Between both of my children - Payton - 6 and Bryson 2-1/2, this was the sickest either child has ever been. It was a rough 10 days. We all ended up sick and still have some runny noses. We tried to enjoy Christmas as much as possible but it was hard.
Hopefully, everyone is on the road to recovery and we can get back to our normal routine. My grandma use to always say that snow killed germs. I wish it would snow a foot deep. Not sure if this is true or not but it certainly couldn't hurt!!
