CleanSmart - Alcohol Free Hand Sanitizer Product Review and Giveaway

The "Sanitize, Moisture, Sanitize, Moisture" cycle stops right here.

CleanSmart is a breakthrough hand sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs without drying your hands.  It contains the same ingredient your body has always uses to fight germs – hypochlorous acid.  With simple and natural ingredients, CleanSmart replicates hypochlorous acid so you don’t need to use harsh chemicals to stay healthy this cold and flu season.  Combat the germ season with a breakthrough product that’s alcohol-free, hypoallergenic, and no fragrance has been added.

CleanSmart has been through rigorous government testing and is a proven germ killer.  Plus it’s Dermatologist and Pediatrician approved safe for the whole family.  CleanSmart is so new it is only available online but will be available in stores after the first of the year.

I am on a mission this month for my kids to healthy and well during the holidays.  Last year, both kids were very sick.  We didn't leave the house for 2 weeks.  We were unable to attend family gatherings and they hardly felt like getting out of bed Christmas morning.   I hope and pray this Christmas is better.  I have been using my CleanSmart daily for the past couple of weeks on my hands and my children.  I love that it doesn't have a scent.  I also like that it doesn't make my hands feel dirty.  Some may find that statement odd but I have used sanitizers that made me feel like my hands were dirty after I used it.  With cold and flu season here, everyone could use CleanSmart to kill germs.

Additional Information at CleanSmart Website - www.cleansmarthome.com

 GIVEAWAY

Leave a comment and let me know if you use hand sanitizer often.  If so, which brand do you use most often? (Required)

Everyone seems to be working in their yards and planting their gardens.  Intense working in your yard can can cause sore muscles and pain.  Zim's has a wide variety of products to help soothe your sore muscles.  I received my free samples just in time since I have experienced some sore muscles from working outside.

Samples I Received:

Olay Total Effects 7 Review

Oil of Olay has been used in my family for years.  As a child, I can remember my grandmothers nightly routine of taking care of her skin.  She used Oil of Olay night cream every night before bed.  I would sit and watch her wash her face and apply her cream.  She always had beautiful skin.  I am a little ashamed to admit this but I do not have a nightly routine for taking care of my skin.  I know, my grandmother would be upset with me.

I was excited when I given the chance to review Olay Total Effects 7 in one Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen.  No, it isn't a product for nightly routines, it is intended for use during the day.

First, I have to comment on the bottle.  Isn't it cool?  I definitely love the look.

The first time I tried Olay Total Effects I was impressed with how well it evened out my skin tone.  I could tell the biggest difference in my skin tone after having my second child and this product provided exactly what I needed to to even it out.  I chose the fair to medium shade and it was perfect for me.  It felt so light on my face like I wasn't wearing anything.  After just 3 days, I could tell a difference in how smooth my skin became.  During the winter, it normally gets so dry and this winter was no exception.  Olay Total Effects provided the extra moisture I needed.

It is also wonderful to wear a product with sunscreen. Olay Total Effects has a SPF 15.  Something I need to wear every day especially since spring is just around the corner.

I may not have a nightly routine but I have definitely started a new daily routine.  Since trying Olay Total Effects I have applied it to my face every day.  I would recommend this product.   In just a few days, I could already tell a difference.

Available in 3 shades:  Fair to Light
                                Light to Medium
                                Medium to Dark

Olay Total Effects fights 7 Signs of Aging:

- Fine Lines and Wrinkles:  reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

- Uneven Tone:  balances and helps even out tone

- Age Spots:  reduces appearance of discoloration

- Gentle Exfoliation:  Improves surface cell turnover

- Dryness:  provides nourishing moisturization

- Moisture Barrier:  strengthens skin's natural defense against moisture loss

- Luminosity:  recaptures youthful luminosity

Giveaway Extended - The Good Life for Less Review and Giveaway

MomAdvice.com is one of the first blogs that I began reading many years ago.  I immediately felt a connection to Amy Clark because she was a mom with small children like me.  I began to read her blog almost daily and loved how she always found thrifty ways to have fun and entertain with her family.

I was thrilled when the Penguin Group contacted me and offered me a book to review.  I couldn't wait to receive it.  As soon as I unpacked Amy's book, I opened the cover and began to read.  I read the whole book that evening.  I simply could not put it down.  Her book made me feel like I was have a conversation with a friend.

Amy's book truly does provide ways to Giving Your Family Great Meals, Good Times, and a Happy Home on a Budget.  I especially loved the selection of recipes she included in Chapter 3 and how she keeps a clean home in Chapter 5.

Carmex Everyday Lip Conditioner Review

As a member of the Carmex Blog Squad, I recently received a free sample of their new Everyday Lip Conditioner.  As you most know, I love Carmex and use it daily.  I have it at home, in my purse, and most of the time in my vehicle.  I try to prevent my lips from chapping especially during the winter months.

I was excited to try the new Carmex Everyday Lip Conditioner.  It is not like any other Carmex product I have used.  It is like lotion for your lips.  It is creamy, fast absorbing, non-greasy and contains 13 mositurizers for soft, smooth lips.  It isn't glossy either.  I was able to apply it and then also apply lipgloss or lipstick.  The lip conditioner keep my lips soft and conditioned longer.  I didn't feel like I was wearing anything at all.  Also, the orange flavor was wonderful.  I am a fan of anything orange flavored.  Along with me reviewing it, I also let my 6 year old daughter try it.  She is not a fan of using anything to prevent chapping.  She too was impressed and really liked that it didn't make her lips feel greasy.  Her first response was "I don't feel it on my lips."   I also think it would be perfect for men to use also.

If you are looking for something new to try to prevent chapping and keep your lips feeling soft, give Carmex Everyday Lip Conditioner a try.  I truly believe you won't be disappointed.

The High Calliing Review

I was given the opportunity to review the The High Calling newsletter recently.  The High Calling newsletter provides everyday conversations about work, life, and god.  The newsletter is published weekly and contains:

- weekly audios from Howard Butt
- articles from The High Calling
- articles from around the The High Calling community

You sign up for their weekly or daily emails or both depending on your preference.

The mission statement of The High Calling is:

TheHighCalling.org seeks to create opportunities for Christian leaders to encounter God through new media tools for the transformation of daily life, work, and our world. Christian leaders are in all aspects and activities of daily life—including home, community, leisure, as well as occupation.

I found The High Calling newsletter to be very inspirational and informative.  I read the September 5 issue - The Quiet Leader.

I found the articles to be informative.  I seemed to easily relate to each one of them in some way.   The articles were written by parents.   They discussed parenting, providing for their family, and the economy. Subjects that all parents can relate to in some way.  I found inspiration reading each article.  I loved that they were not too long but still inspirational.  I look forward to reading more.

Disclosure:  All information was provided to me by The High Calling newsletter. I did receive compensation for this review.  All opinions are my own.

Mabels Labels Review

I could not have picked a more perfect time to receive my Mabel's Labels.  My daughter started kindergarten this year and was excited to receive a gift pack full of labels with her name on them.  After doing our back to school shopping, we labeled her supplies.  It just added more excitement by being able to add her name to everything.

Mabel's Labels offer a huge variety for almost every need:
- Baby Labels
- Iron-On Labels
- Sticky Labels
- Allergy Labels
- Waterproof Labels
- Clothing Labels
- Shoe Labels
- Uniform Labels
I especially loved the clothing labels I received.  The first day of school was very emotional for me.  Payton did great.  I was so sad that my baby girl was growing up.  I began worrying over things weeks before school started.   Yes, some of them are silly.  I worried on how she was going to keep up with her jacket and not lose it at school.  With the clothing labels, I had one less thing to worry about.  With the this huge milestone of my first child going to school, I felt prepared knowing she was going to be able to keep up with her jackets and school supplies with everything labeled.

Carmex Review and 48 Hour Giveaway - Ends 8/20

A couple of weeks before going to the beach, I received my Carmex beach tote containing 6 Carmex Sticks including the new Pomegranate.  What perfect timing I know.  I immediately opened the pomegranate stick and tried it.  I love the way it feels on my lips.  If going into the sun, my lips are the first thing that sunscreen is applied to.  If not, they will burn and blister.  I have carried Carmex in my purse all summer long for those unplanned moments in the sun.  Each of the Carmex sticks are made with an ultra-moisturizing formula and SPF 15 Water Resistant Sunscreen.

The Carmex tote also made it to the beach with me.  I filled it full with beach toys for my children.

Carmex has provided me with 1 Carmex tote and 6 Carmex sticks to give away.   The six sticks included are Original, Cherry, Strawberry, Vanilla, Lime Twist and Pomegranate.

After downloading the Burst app, I found that it was very easy and simple to use.  I love being able to have a camera and camcorder with me at all times with Android phone. I never know when my kids will do something that I want to catch on my camera or camcorder.  I have already shared pics and videos with family who lives in other states. If you have family or friends who lives in a different town or state, this would be a great for you too.  They could almost see things as they are happening.  Grandparents would especially love this so they could keep up to date with what is going on with their grandchildren.

Giveaway - Honey Bunches of Oats Review and Giveaway - 3 Winners

I love to try new items.  As a Purex Insider, I was given the opportunity to review giveaway 3 coupons for a FREE box of Honey Bunches of Oats.

I was very impressed with Honey Bunches of Oats.  I had it every morning until the box was gone.  It didn't take long for the box to become empty because my 2 year old and 5 year old loved it too.   I wasn't sure how my kids would like it, but it was requested every morning.  I also loved that it stayed crunchy after I poured milk in my bowl.

Here is some facts about the Product:

- 10 grams of Whole Grain
- 6 grams of Sugar
- Provides 9 essential vitamins and minerals.
- Contains 4 nutritious grains into crispy flakes and even more crunchy granola bunches
- Heart Healthy

You can find more information about Honey Bunches of Oats on Facebook!
