Today's question....What is the one thing you look forward to doing during the summer?

 

I look forward to wearing flip flops.  I love flip flops and miss wearing them during the winter.  I also look forward to going to the beach.  I love the smell in the air, the sand, the breezes, the sand between my toes and the relaxing feeling I always feel just walking on the beach.  We are fortunate enough to be able to go every summer and hopefully my kids will love the beach as much as I do when they get older.

Today's question....Do you plant a garden?  If so, what do you plant and how big is your garden? 

I usually have a few plants each summer including tomato, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers.  I also have a small herb garden.  This year I am planning to expand my garden and try a few new things.

Today's question....What is your favorite FREE entertainment for summer?  My family's favorite thing to do is spend our afternoons outside in the pool.  We purchased a pool from Walmart several years ago and have never regretted it.  It has been well worth the money spent.

Today's question....What is your favorite coupon?

I have several favorite ones.  Since my son is still in diapers I love to always have Huggies diaper and wipe coupons available.  I hate to have to buy any without coupons.  I also love coupons for FREE items.  This is a great way to try something new and not have to worry about paying for something that you are not sure whether you will like.

Today's question....What is your favorite gift to receive?

 

I have several items that I love to receive.  I consider all of them to practical ... Bath and Body Works lotions, body spray, or hand soap.  I also love to receive gift cards to my favorite restaurants or my favorite stores.   I really like to receive anything that I wouldn't normally buy for myself such as new jewelry or unique items for my home.

Today's question.....What is your favorite gift to give for $10 or less?

I love to give gift cards as gifts. A $10 gift card to a restaurant or a store that I know that person often shops.  I also like to make themed gift baskets.  If you plan ahead of time, it is amazing what I am able to purchase for $10.  I always look for sale and clearance items, combine with a coupon and you can really give an awesome gift.

Today's question.....What is the one item you often have to pay full price for that you never seem to find a great deal or a coupon for?

I always feel like I am never getting a good deal when I purchase Canola Oil or Olive Oil.  Where do you purchase these items? Do you feel like you ever get a good deal on these items?


Update:  In response to the Comment Saturday post about the email I sent Ruby Tuesday, I received a gift card for $40.  I am glad to see that they are concerned with each customers dining experience.

Today's question.....Have you ever complained to a company or manufacturer about their product or service when you had a bad experience?  If so, what was the outcome?

I am getting ready to write one in the next few minutes.  We received a gift card along with a 25% off coupon to Ruby Tuesday.  I was so looking forward to going out to dinner but I was not satisfied with our service or with my daughters dinner.  I will say that Ruby Tuesday is a favorite of ours but last nights experience was not a pleasurable one.  Looking forward to their response.

Today's question.....With grocery prices rising daily, what is one way you plan to cut back on your grocery bill to compensate for the rising prices?  I found a great idea at Frugal Makes Cents - Precious is trying to make a couple of meals each week without meat to be healthier and by doing this you can also save money.  I plan on incorporating this in our menu too.  I'm not sure how my dh is going to react to this because he is a person who likes meat with every meal.

What is your go-to meal on those nights when you don't have alot of time?

I have a couple of go-to meals.  I always have frozen homemade spaghetti sauce in the freezer.  In no time at all ,we can have a nice spaghetti dinner.  For a quick sandwich, I like to prepare BLTs.  Everyone loves them and I can get veggies in my kids with lettuce and tomatoes.
